She was pregnant by then, her daugther was born and sent to Brazil where she became a history teacher and political activist by the time of military dictatorship.

Anne Frank was probably the most famous victim of nazism. She was just a young teenager when her family decided to hide from the nazis in Holland. During the life in the hiding place, she kept a diary with her thought and the problems jewish people were facing. I’m not sure why Anne Frank is and outstanding among millions of people who was forced to be in the same conditions as her. But I’m quite conviced that is because she brings a human face to word “millions”, reminding us that was not just a statistic number. Her diary was translate for several languages and continues to speaking with youngsters of many cultures, preventing history of being forgotten. She died in Auschwitz at the age of 15.
